Scott Sharp (Head Coach)
Coach and organizer of the first high school boys lacrosse team in South Carolina at Hilton Head in 1999 as well as the Bluffton program in 2005. SCLL Coach of the Year in 2004. Coached the Hilton Head Boys Team to the SCLL Championship in 2002, 2003,and 2004. Scott was an original chapter board member of South Carolina chapter of US Lacrosse and presently is a lead lacrosse official in the SCLL. Scott played class AA lacrosse at Central Square High School in Syracuse, NY, graduating in 1990 and graduating from Cortland State in 1996, also playing lacrosse at The University of New Haven from 1993 - 1994.
Craig Hysell
Craig Hysell played on Division I Ohio State High School Championship teams in 1992 and 1993. While attending Bowling Green State University he played midfielder on the college’s club lacrosse team. He received Rookie of the Year and Sportsman of the Year honors in 1994 (as well as a shaved head). By 1996 he was voted the team’s co-captain. In 1997 he was voted the team’s only captain. From 2002 to 2008 he played Division II and III rugby in South Carolina, again being voted co-captain of his team. These days he likes to practice mixed martial arts in his free time.
Rich Thomas
A founding member of the first youth lacrosse program in South Carolina in 1998, Rich is currently President of the SC Chapter of US Lacrosse and President of the SC Lacrosse Officials Association. A former coach at the collegiate (JV Assistant – Princeton), high school (Varsity – The Pingry School - NJ), and youth levels (Madison, NJ, Sparta, NJ, and Hilton Head, SC), Rich played high school lacrosse at The Pingry School and was named First Team All Tri-State Conference (NJ/NY/PA - Private) his junior and senior years. He played varsity lacrosse at Princeton and men’s club lacrosse for teams in New Jersey, New York, California, and Australia. The former Commissioner of the SC Lacrosse League (SCLL), Rich has led the governance and scheduling of the play of lacrosse at the HS and youth levels in the State of South Carolina since 2003.
Dennis Daly
Dennis is the Athletic Director at Westminster School, a private boarding school in Simsbury, CT. He played lacrosse at Amherst College and for both the Connecticut Valley and Farmington Valley Lacrosse Clubs, was head head lacrosse coach at Middlebury College, Amherst College, Washington & Lee University, and Westminster School, and assistant lacrosse coach at Delaware, Virginia Military Institute, and Westminster School. Dennis served as President of the United States Lacrosse Coaches Association and was the Founder and Director of The Lacrosse Academy lacrosse camps in VA, PA, and OH. Dennis is most proud of the fact that players from his 13 Westminster lacrosse teams captained 19 college teams. Dennis and his wife recently purchased a home on Hilton Head.
